The Governor Livingston Highlander Marching Band is part of the Tournament of Bands competitive band organization. The band competes in a number of competitions throughout the fall season, culminating in the Atlantic Coast Championships. The ACCs includes bands from 13 regions covering nine states. The Governor Livingston Highlander Marching Band has won its group in the ACCs 13 times: 1980, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1997, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2011, and 2012.
